Let's talk about the energy of giving and receiving in this current economy.  Let's talk about prosperity from the perspective of flow.

We have a tendency to think of wealth as accumulation but when accumulation becomes stagnant it can dry up and it can get murky.  I'd like you to picture a rushing river or even a flowing stream.  When new energy enters a system (and by a system I mean you, I mean your family, I mean your community)  and when that system overflows its goodness so that the next system in the chain gets a great inflow from its buddy upstream, everyone benefits.

Now what I'm seeing happening as a result of the messages we are getting about the economy, is that people are sealing themselves off.  And this can create a state of stagnation. People are re-organizing their giving and taking and screeching on the brakes of that flow.

Well this is completely understandable.  If someone has been laid off it makes total sense to cut down on spending.  But what I'd like to suggest here is that no matter what your situation is, that you begin to or continue to pay attention to the vitality of the flow of giving and receiving in your life.

So even if money is feeling tight to you right now, if you want it to begin flowing more abundantly, one thing you can do on an energy level is to keep the Giving and Receiving momentum going in some form.  Set a conscious intention to joyfully give and graciously receive many times in the day.  With a little conscious awareness, you can prime the pump with some of these non-financial givings and takings:

  1. Acknowledgment
    • Giving- Open your mouth and say it.  There are times when you admire someone. Or you respect someone. Or you appreciate someone.  Telling them is tremendously generous.  And it keeps you from stagnating.
    • Receiving – When someone acknowledges you  and they tell you you look good or you did a good job or your are appreciated, open the door and let the energy in.  See it as life force flowing to you
       
  2. Money – As money passes hands, as you pay for your groceries or you receive change when you buy something, feel the flow, the movement and the fluidity of this thing we call money. And feel how it moves from hand to hand.

These simple acts of awareness cost you nothing but they do a major invisible job.

Keep yourself in the giving and receive mode and eventually more and more money will jump on the bandwagon to be part of that exchange.

 …and as I read it back I tripped over the sound of that but I left it in. I thought you might have felt that little hiccough as you read or listened to me say it so I want to talk to you today about prosperity of relationships – particularly friendships.

We usual think about money at the mention of prosperity but who will you enjoy your money with if you've lost al your friends on the  way to your riches?

I want to talk to you today about the treasure of your friends.

Here is what I recommend as a sound investment in your friendships.

Call at least one friend today and do the following:

As they speak, let the vibration of their voice hum in your heart.  Let this feeling linger the way you might swish some sweet nectar in your mouth to savor its goodness.  Listen only lightly to the words and listen deeply to the soul of your friend.  Feel their presence in your energy body and embrace their presence in your heart.

If you really want to get athletic about this, do it once a day with different people. 

If you want to get Olympic about it, do it with strangers.

If you want to get superhero with it, do it with your enemies (I know you don't have any but you get the point.)

I give more specific instruction about how to do this in Rooted in the Infinite.

So your assignment for today – should you decide to accept it – is to:

  1. Pick a friend – new or old
  2. Call them up
  3. As they speak listen deeply to their voice. Listen with your heart

Why is this in the prosperity section of this blog?  Because your friends become more and more truly valuable to you the more you realize that they are merely pools of love that you can bathe in.  And that is a wealth that has nothing to do with money but it enriches the soul. This is multidimensional prosperity.

A friend told me about Loral Langemeier a number of years ago and, in all the information overload, I let that name slide from my awareness.  Now she is coming to my attention again and this time I'm listening more closely.

How do I currently, most authentically, take possession of my own mind?

How can I more fully bring myself into alignment with my knowing of Infinite Supply?

  1. Get a notebook.
  2. Write your major desire in life (your idea of success)
  3. Write what you intend to give in return (and start giving)
  4. Memorize both statements
  5. Repeat them at least a dozen times daily
  6. End with this statement:
I ask not, oh Divine Providence, for more riches, but more wisdom with which to accept and use wisely the riches I received at birth in the form of the power to control and direct my mind to whatever ends I desire. – Napoloen Hill

Invisible Abundance Turns into a Check in the Mail

Until the abundance of the Universe manifests itself for you, it is invisible.

And if you can know it's there even though you don't see it yet, you are well on your way to manifesting great things.

The YOFA jhe Sessions are also invisible.  (In fact, they have become even more invisible lately.  You may have noticed that I stopped posting the updates here.  They are now in the private members' area.)

I'd like you to start to pay way more attention to the invisible.  It's where everything  you want is until it's visible.

This is an example of one moment when it popped from invisible to visible for Denise, a member of the jhe sessions.

Here is an excerpt from the last jhe session update:

Financial prosperity is the translation of Universal Abundance into the living of our lives in our human society.  And so I expect to see a spike in your finances as a result of this session.  Whether it is large or small, when you notice it, give thanks for it and know that more is coming.
 
How can I say that with such certainty?

Because the abundance is there and it is about our alignment whether or not we receive it.  So, since this session was so clear and strong, I know that you are sure to feel its energy is some way.  I don't know how it will manifest for you, but I know it will.

Money and the Law of Attraction – part 2

 Money and the Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks (and of course Abraham) is recommended reading for the August YOFA "Results" Workshop. If you order(ed) the book but don't have time to read it all before the workshop, try this:

Randomly open the book (or flip through the table of contents for something that interests you).  Read a few lines.  If they speak to you personally, take them into contemplation for a few minutes.  Steep your consciousness in the message, focusing on the simplicity of that one sentence or paragraph.

Let that good, empowering, affirming, joy-promoting feeling reach every one of your cells and the expansion of your energy field. (This is a form of Affirmative Contemplation.)

Bring the feeling tone of that passage to the workshop.  Whether you share or not on the call, you will contribute a most valuable energy to the group by doing this.

Abraham-Hicks on Appreciation

I knew it might stir up a bit of controversy but it seemed worth it. 

It was my intention, in offering the post and video of Byron Katie on money, to bring something to light about the process of manifestation. 

Did it work? 

In response to Andrew's comment (and I think he speaks for many) I thought I'd explain this a bit further.

I want to show you different ways that you can instantly release your fears and anxieties about money. 

Then 2 things happen.  

  1. You get happier in your now.
  2. You open yourself to more satisfying manifestations.

I like to talk about these different desires as running along the different axes of our 3 dimensional world and body. (I explain this all in great detail in Rooted in the Infinite. )

Now, here is where it gets interesting.

Those 2 things that happen when you release resistance are happening along 2 different axes.

Let's look at it again:

  1. You get happier in your now. 
  •  This happens on the Y-axis.  It resides in your upright spine.  It aligns you with spirit and give you access to Infinite Consciousness.   
  1. You open yourself to more satisfying manifestations. 
  •  This happens on your Z-axis.  It resides in your forward facing awareness of time and journey.  It aligns you with the preferences of your unique incarnation and the choices you make as an individual creative being.

So, we can see Byron Katie's message as a Y-axis teaching or what we would traditionally call a spiritual teaching.  It does not depart from the now.

And we can see the Science of Deliberate Creation as more of a Z-axis teaching.  It focuses on the journey and reveals the process of manifestation.

And once Abraham strated calling this "The Art of Allowing," the focus came back toward the Y-axis.

And both axes live in your body and your world.

The Abraham-Hicks video above bridges the two.  Any true Z-axis teaching must be based in the Y-axis.  And Abraham is.

The harmony between the 3 axes and their native desires is at the heart of our YOFA Training.  The mystical meeting point of the three is the center point of consciousness.
