Do You Feel The Pain of Blame or the Joy of Responsibility?

People write to me and say that the Law of Attraction perspective has them feeling blamed and judged for anything that is going wrong in their lives. They feel guilty and embarrassed if their health fails or if they have financial problems.

Hmmmm.

That is the opposite of the intention of this teaching. And yet, haven’t we all felt that way at times?

Martin Luther King Jr.

I invite you to watch this video and listen to the whole speech. (It’s a little over 17 minutes.)

Regardless of the color of your skin or the country of your origin, I invite you to study this man’s clarity and determination as a lesson and a model.

Somewhere toward the end of minute seven, he says, "Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred."

He speaks of "meeting physical force with soul force."

I believe that these are the images and instincts of peace and evolution, not only for our nation’s racial pain. but for the pain of humanity as we clash with each other on so many fronts.

I invite you to listen to this man’s words as if you had never heard them before. And if you really have never heard them before, I invite you to listen even more closely.

I invite you to contemplate this man’s dream and vision and bring it to life in you so that it can evolve uniquely in your contribution to our human family.

Louise Hay has called phenomeNEWS, "the best of the New Age newspapers in the whole country!" (Snowball finds it to be an excellent pillow.)

I think it was December of 2000 when my first article was published in phenomeNEWS. I had picked up the paper at an Abraham-Hicks gathering a few months before. It first grabbed my attention because there was an Abraham article (or excerpt) in there and as soon as I saw Jerry and Esther’s smiling faces on the page, I new I wanted to look further.

I was immediately lit up by this publication and I sent in my first submission not knowing that the folks at phenomeNEWS would become my long distance family of the heart.

Now, I figure it’s about 8 years, 97 articles, and a deep and ongoing gratitude later, that I find myself with no more article due date this month.

PhenomeNEWS has reached its completion and it will always hold a very beautiful place in my heart.

Actually, if you are reading this, it is probably at least partly thanks to phenomeNEWS. They put me on the map and many of the people I reach now know of my work because of all these years of churning my personal process out into monthly articles that found print in Michigan and pixels on the web thanks to Cindy and Gerri and all the wonderful folks at phenomeNEWS. They have made a huge impact on my life and I’m sure whatever they do next will brighten our world. I will always think of them with love and gratitude.

Standing Meditation

I’m really getting a lot out of this and can already feel the benefits of aligning my Y-axis. I prefer doing this standing up though instead of sitting down. I can really feel the energy move up my body (and spine) this way. I’m curious why you don’t mention standing up as an option?

Yes! By all means, feel free to do the YOFA inner alignment exercises while standing. And thank you for pointing out that I have not made that clear. Sometimes doing these meditations while standing, especially the Y-axis ones, will cause you to raise your arms up. If you are inspired to do that, go right ahead. It is the up-force moving you toward joy.

As you get more advanced, you can also do these while walking. You may find a very interesting effect focusing on the Y-axis as you move along your Z.

“Stand by Me” & “jhe”

I received this email after yesterday’s YOFA jhe Session and I am passing it along to you:

Hi Rebbie,

First I would like to thank you for [the YOFA jhe Sessions]. I find that I recognize a change on the day you have done a session and then sure enough you send an email for confirmation. Today was no exception. Yes I do feel lighter and my heart which is usually big and open is more so today. The money thing and relationships are also much lighter it feels like freedom along with total trust and faith that everything is just as it should be and there is perfection it all of it.

If you feel inclined I would like you to watch a you tube video (see above)… It reminds me of what you and alot of us are doing standing by each other. I trust you will enjoy it as much as I do. Also you may want to share this video with your email list.

Today’s YOFA jhe Session 01-02-09

I did a YOFA jhe Session for the list today (including the free list).

This was an unusually intense session and I expect you to notice a few things as a result.

In a general way, you may feel the energy as a lightness: Like you have springs on your shoes or wings on your heart.

This feeling of energy or lightness, if you happen to feel a hint of it, is a sign that you have resonated powerfully with the alignment. If you don’t feel it, that’s fine too.

More specifically, today’s session opens a pathway for you to live your life with a continual awakening of the love in your heart.

That translates into the nitty gritty of your life in some interesting ways.

For example:

The handling of money – As you exchange currency with others, write checks, cash and deposit checks, pay for items that you buy, receive cash in your hand from others, all these exchanges of money transform when the heart is awakened in the process. And so, a few things results from this:

Your relationship with the material world becomes beautified.
You awaken to the richness of colors and textures and energy in inanimate things in a way that changes what money and material wealth mean to you.
With a deep sense of appreciation for the material world and it’s energetic depth, you become a magnet for more things that make your heart sing.

Personal Relationships – As you interact with others, having the love in your heart awake and ready to participate in your unconscious word selection and the movement of your physical gestures, your relationships transform – sometimes in subtle ways, sometimes in dramatic ways.

Today’s session also had a harmonizing effect between the heart and the mind. When those two centers are humming in a balanced and pleasing way, your life feels refreshing and you feel whole.

Of course these sessions are cumulative and the effect is ongoing, but this session was strong enough that I think you will find some specific results that ring true to what I’m talking about here. You may have already felt it today or it may happen in the next day or two.

I consider it a great privilege to do this session for you and I thank you for you trust in me.

Honoring Your Ancestors

A couple of years ago, I offered a workshop called "Honor Your Ancestors, Heal Your Heart." Some people experienced a profound healing from that process and it took us to a very sacred place easily. Somehow, thinking of your ancestors conjures the beauty of ancient faces, the tone of eternity, and the sacred feeling of life itself.

Honoring Your Parents

This year I’m giving a workshop called "Taking a Moment to Honor Your Parents." I notice a completely different tone hovering around the registration page for this workshop.

Our ancestors hold a silent mystery for us. We can imagine them in accordance with our highest ideals and values. Our parents, real people to us, are another thing all together.

Some people adore their parents. Some recall pain and abuse as they ponder these very real human beings. Not aged and tattered photographs from the old country, but living (or living memories), nagging, people who never seemed to understand them.

And that is why I’m finding that this year’s workshop, focusing on honoring your parents, takes a more advanced spirit to truly embrace and find the sacred thread in this subject matter.

When you can look through the human limitations of your very real parents to the eternal flow of life through which you have emerged, well, that is an awe inspiring relationship, no matter what it looks like on the personality level.

And the benefits of honoring your parents are deep. They touch into that flow that not only nourishes you, but nourishes them, and all the ancient faces of your unknowable line of ancestors. This honoring creates a field of alignment within you that cannot be accessed though any other method. Your parents hold a unique place in your energy field and that alignment is fundamental, powerful, and benefits every other aspect of your life.
