In this video you see Byron Katie doing The Work with someone on the subject of money.

As part of the YOFA "Results" Training, I recommend that you do The Work of Byron Katie and begin releasing your resistance about money (and everything else).  It is a deep process of self inquiry and it will take you as far as you are willing to go. The instructions and downloads are all on her website (how generous!) right here.

As your awareness of Law of Attraction expands and matures, you may find that there is a whole new way of manifesting on the horizon.  No surprise there is a paradox at play here.

Abraham-Hicks on Appreciation

I knew it might stir up a bit of controversy but it seemed worth it. 

It was my intention, in offering the post and video of Byron Katie on money, to bring something to light about the process of manifestation. 

Did it work? 

In response to Andrew’s comment (and I think he speaks for many) I thought I’d explain this a bit further.

I want to show you different ways that you can instantly release your fears and anxieties about money. 

Then 2 things happen.  

  1. You get happier in your now.
  2. You open yourself to more satisfying manifestations.

I like to talk about these different desires as running along the different axes of our 3 dimensional world and body. (I explain this all in great detail in Rooted in the Infinite. )

Now, here is where it gets interesting.

Those 2 things that happen when you release resistance are happening along 2 different axes.

Let’s look at it again:

  1. You get happier in your now. 
  •  This happens on the Y-axis.  It resides in your upright spine.  It aligns you with spirit and give you access to Infinite Consciousness.   
  1. You open yourself to more satisfying manifestations. 
  •  This happens on your Z-axis.  It resides in your forward facing awareness of time and journey.  It aligns you with the preferences of your unique incarnation and the choices you make as an individual creative being.

So, we can see Byron Katie’s message as a Y-axis teaching or what we would traditionally call a spiritual teaching.  It does not depart from the now.

And we can see the Science of Deliberate Creation as more of a Z-axis teaching.  It focuses on the journey and reveals the process of manifestation.

And once Abraham strated calling this "The Art of Allowing," the focus came back toward the Y-axis.

And both axes live in your body and your world.

The Abraham-Hicks video above bridges the two.  Any true Z-axis teaching must be based in the Y-axis.  And Abraham is.

The harmony between the 3 axes and their native desires is at the heart of our YOFA Training.  The mystical meeting point of the three is the center point of consciousness.

I know this is a bit abstract.   I hope you find it useful.

The harmony between your Y-axis and Z-axis desires is revealed in the living of your life in every moment.

Byron Katie and Law of Attraction: Part 3 – Money

In the YOFA Results Workshop, people are finding ways to release their resistance to abundance and prosperity.  You might be wondering why or how you would resist prosperity.

Here is how we all do it.

  • We get focused on how much we don’t want what we don’t want.
  • We get fearful of the lack of money.
  • We get angry at those who have money (Especially those for whom it seems effortless.)

All that static creates a barrier.  Just like static blocks you from hearing the music on your radio, static blocks you from receiving the manifestation you are so masterfully creating.

So, if your experience is not one of prosperity, then you can know that you are resisting it.  If it’s noon and the sun is shining and your room is dark, you can know that you’ve got your curtains closed. 

It’s really simple.

The sun is always high in the sky of prosperity. The question is what are you doing with your curtains?

(First step: Forgive yourself, love yourself, know that it’s all perfect right this very moment.)

Byron Katie and Law of Attraction: Part 2 You Are Good

Have you been around YOFA for a while now?  Have you been a student of the Abraham-Hicks teachings for years?  For me it’s about 15 years now. 

And so I have been going along my merry way quite content, not looking for much else.  I hardly even go to bookstores anymore.  I have pretty much stopped looking for answers in that way.  There is nothing that is important to me that Abraham is not answering. 

In fact, as my relationship with Law of Attraction has been maturing, I have come to understand something very clearly.  (And if you come to my workshops you know this is also what I have come to teach.) 

This "in-a-nutshell" realization is that the only thing I need to do is release resistance. That’s really what it all boils down to.  Once there is no resistance (or less than usual), the inherent goodness in any situation can shine through.

Yes, you can say it more positively.  You can say that it’s about allowing, but since it’s the resistance that is so "in your face" when it’s there, it becomes clear that the work is just to keep letting it go.

And so, while I have not been looking for answers or new teachings, I have been asking for years now for more and more ways to release resistance.  I have been looking for ways that are well suited to me.

Well, Katie came as a fireball in my window – a brilliantly recognizable answer to that asking.

And so, here is a wonderful instance of Law of Attraction bringing to me a most extraordinary answer and manifestation.  And since I think you may have a similar asking to me, I pass this on to you.

Byron Katie and Law of Attraction: Part 1 Unconditional Love

Byron Katie may not be teaching about Law of Attraction, but what she offers might just be the most important piece of the whole puzzle.

In the YOFA Results Workshop we’ve been looking deeply into the activity of releasing resistance to what is.  It can start as opening to the perfection of each moment and it can evolve into truly loving what is.  Then, the desires of the heart manifest because there is no more resistance.

In my experience, The Work of Byron Katie is the simplest, the most elegant, and the most effective tool for releasing resistance.

I recommend you go take a look at her site if you are not already familiar with her work.

Then we can talk more about how this all fits into your YOFA Training .
