Today’s YOFA jhe Session 07-18-09

To best embrace the benefit of this session, please (re)read the part of chapter 12 of Rooted in the Infinite that addresses the ego.  If you don’t have much time, read the section called "Ego as Distortion" on page 121.

As a result of this session, I expect you to feel like someone washed your windows.

Clarity, precision, and equanimity in your perception quickly turn into wisdom and compassion in your personality. 

That is the effect of this session. 

Today’s alignment goes a long way toward evaporating the distortions created by the resistant aspect of the ego. 

To say that in a positive way, today’s alignment helps you purify your desires. 

It brings you in touch with the brilliance, talent, and unique value of your human instrument.  I sometimes refer to this as the positive aspect of ego.  It is ego as instrument.

Here are some of the effects you may notice.  You may notice both of them or this may work completely under the surface.  Either way, this is the movement that is generated by today’s jhe session.

  • Your Desires — Your desires begin to feel very good to you when your mind lands on them.  Even desires that usually create a feeling of frustration or even despair, start to feel more fresh and exciting. And of course, this brings them closer to fruition.
  • Your Relationships — You see others in a more positive light.  Even thinking of, or encountering, those who usually annoy you or even trigger rage does not bother you in the same way.  This is because today’s alignment gives you access to much more interest in the richness of your own experience.  Displeasure with, disappointment with, and disapproval of others simply cannot compete with the power of your engagement with your own true journey through life. 
     

So, you naturally engage more of your attention with the purity of your desires.  And your negative attention to others naturally atrophies.  It just dissolves. And as it does, so does the hurt you have been causing yourself through your attention to what is not wanted. And ironically, you actually give the other person more space to become the way you want them to be by releasing your mental grip on their apparent flaws.

Many teachers talk about the ego as a purely negative phenomenon that we want nothing to do with.  I call this only half of the ego.  And this session moves you toward a natural, easy, pleasant, effortless release of that part of the ego that is made of resistance.

So what about the other half of ego?  It is the joy of being a focused, individual point of consciousness.  It is the pure expression of your uniqueness.  It is the gift that is beyond measure that you give to the world.  And that gift is expanded as you increase your ability to be purely yourself. 

So, to summarize, this session brightens your light, expands the gift that you are, and makes you more attractive, more appreciated, more enjoyed by others. 

This is a cultivation of your unique brilliance. 

Your expression may intensify or take new forms.  If you are an artist, keep your brushes, violin, pencil, etc. handy. I think you will be pouring through your chosen medium in new and satisfying ways. 

If you do not see yourself as an artist, you may quickly realize that your everyday life is a brilliant work of art.  Joyful harmonious expressiveness (jhe) can take infinite forms.

The Heart Rich With Love: Today’s YOFA jhe Session

yofa-jhe-shrub.jpgI did a YOFA jhe Session for all of you who are on the jhe list today (including the free list).

Today’s session focused on the richness of your experience and the love in your heart.

Have you seen a very large dense shrub with so many little leaves on it that it makes the shrub look almost like a solid object? But then when you get closer you can see that there are many leaves, all facing in different directions with sunlight and shadow creating a rich texture of life, all connected to one major root.

Well, today’s session reminded me of that.  There are so many aspects of your magnificence and each one has its own integrity.  Some come forward into the light, some remain hidden, deep inside you.  They combine together to be what you think of as you.  Today’s session cultivated the richness of all those brilliant facets of who you are.

As a result of today’s session, I expect you to feel the richness of your life in the following ways:

  •  A shift in how you feel/think/experience yourself. This could be called a shift toward high self-esteem.  It feels like an authentic knowing of your inherent value as a human being.  It is neither humble nor boastful. It is not a comparison with others.  It is simply a direct perception of the richness of your being.
  • A heightened sensitivity to the beauty of the sounds around you. This can be birds tweeting or horns honking.  It comes forward in you as an awakening to the richness of this moment as sound. 
  •  An expanded capacity to love.  This can feel like a layering effect.  Like you can feel the different layers of love within you – maybe different forms of love that you’ve felt for different people or different variation of your experience of love at different ages in your life.  The way you might experience it is with a surprisingly open feeling as you look at someone you love.  Maybe even tears of joy.  This love, when it resonates through the layers of you, gives you access to deep feeling and it is a gift when it happens.

Regarding the body, this session supports the energy of the heart. 

Regarding relationships, this session supports forgiveness and compassion.

Regarding the material world, this session resonates with rich, colorful fabrics, weaves, velvets, silks, carpets, etc.  Who knows, maybe someone will give you a gift! (Or maybe you’ll suddenly find a scarf you love – I’m always amazed at how these things work themselves into manifestation.) Or maybe you will simply feel your beauty, inside and out, and radiate like a royal garment in your blue jeans.

Today’s YOFA jhe Session 9-12-08

This session is helping you manifest your most heartfelt desires.

This session was unusual because the manifestation alignment usually happens along the Z-axis, but today’s session was a Y-axis session.

This is a more advanced concept and if you are reading Rooted in the Infinite I’m sure you can get a sense of how this all works.

And so this session helps you manifest by increasing your ability to:

  • See your desires as fulfilled before they have manifested
  • Feel the fulfillment of your desires as if they were already manifested
  • Have the sense that all is well right now just as it is.
  • And ultimately to create the most soul satisfying manifestation imaginable.

As a result of today’s session, I expect you to feel a shift in your perception of ordinary things. 

  • You may suddenly be more attentive to your environment as you hear yourself saying things like, "Was that sign always there?" or  "Was that roof always green?"
  • You may be more sensitive to the texture of the fabric of your clothing or to the colors of your food. 
  • You may even see the faces of people you know for years in a whole new way.

These are all signs of a deep shift that ultimately leads to profound healing, inner peace, and a very satisfying journey.

This was another very powerful session and I am grateful for the contribution that your energy makes to the perfection of this moment and this session.

Today’s YOFA jhe Session 7-12-08

This was a very beautiful session.

As a result of this session I expect you to feel several things.  All of them have to do with trust, allowing, and inner peace.

This session opened a space of exquisite peace in the Y-axis. (For a full explanation of the Y-axis please read Rooted in the Infinite.)

That peace comes from trusting the basic Goodness of this Universe and allowing it to flow through you as you. 

As your unique instrument becomes the amplifier of this Good, you feel joy (joyful harmonious expressiveness).

  • In your body, the result of this session may feel like increased flexibility – especially in the ability of your lower back to arch and open.  If you have a problem in this area, please experiment slowly and gently, as improvements may be gradual.
  • In your relationships, this session may result in a deeper perception of the other.  You may feel the presence of your loved ones in a more rich and essential way than you ever have before.  You may see them with a whole new clarity.
  • In your material manifestation you may find things that were lost or simply find appreciation for things you have been taking for granted.

The inner peace and mood of allowing good that characterized this session are the beginning points for all the manifestations that you desire.
